Drive to Dunedin (day 31)
Cromwell |
We left Queenstown at about 10am for the drive to Dunedin today. The drive is just under 300km but is a solid 3.5 hours, if not stopping. Again the drive is filled with pleasant scenery. We passed through several small towns, the first being a drive by Cromwell (picture above). We stopped for lunch in a small town along the way. We arrived at the Moray Motel in Dunedin at about 3pm.
We had a walkabout of the central business district in the afternoon and settled in for a fish and chips supper at the Emerson’s Brew Bar by The Octagon. We enjoyed a local draft beer with the food.
Some pics from the day…….
