Day 27 Drive to Queenstown
We left Twizel and the Mt. Cook area, after enjoying the stunning views of Mt. Cook, driving on to head for Queenstown, and different mountains, as well as Fiordland.
On the way we also had some interesting scenery. This included the Omarama clay cliffs and the striking landscapes near the Ahuriri River and at Lindis Pass.
Then it was a stop to witness some adventure tourist activity at the site of the world’s first commercial public bungy jumping business, an activity originally invented by Kiwi’s - at AJ Hackett Kawarau Bridge.
